well i spent parts of today playing diner dash.. haha. it is addictive but rather pointless in playing...not going to get me into uni ... is it ? unless if the course somehow says you have to know how to play diner dash . .hahaha :)
currently reading harry potter and the deathly hallows, its considerably long compared to books i normally read, but harry potter series is the only exceptions i have in length of books. jodi picoult books included. it's only coz they're immensely addictive and language (especially vocbulary) used is highly sophisticated unlikely silly twilight series. both serieses (that's not even a word .. haha) are popular for the right reasons.
although harry potter was a bit ruined by the movies, but hey , they still make bucketloads of money! speaking of harry potter movies, still haven't seen harry potter and the half blood prince. dont even remember the storyline of that but i ought to watch it! (no matter how crap people said it was..for the sake of watching it!)
i realise the things i blog about are becoming more and more monotone and boring, my life is actually more interesting than what i write on this blog, but i guess because im lazy with blogging (well not lazy lazy but only update occasionally lazy), the exciting parts of my life aren't really written on here..or by the time i remember to blog i dont remember what was exciting to post about.. and partly because i dont want to post up my personal personal feelings or information on the world web wide. (yes i remember that still from primary school xD)
oh yeh yesterday i saw this youtube video of michael jackson bopping/car dancing? lol, well moving groovily to the beat of r kelly's (thats right pansy i know his .. song.) "ignition" .. a rather catchy tune to listen to. anyways, the dancing of mj reminds me how even with the pressured life in the spotlight he lived, he still managed to enjoy the little things in life, just dancing along to a catchy song in the car. it's a bit sad how he had to hide his interior through his exterior (does that even make sense?) and i actually think he felt a bit isolated in the world. i mean apart from his relatives and children, (aka family) i don't think he would have had THAT MANY close close/extremely personal friends who he could tell everything of his life too, like his up's and down's and worries. it's like that line i read off somewhere, you can be surrounded by a whole bunch of people like even millions of people yet feel so isolated from everyone (yes belonging, the aspect of not belonging even when you're surrounded by so many diverse people from society).
i realise how i find every little intimate thing to relate to belonging aka books, movies, things happening at school, etc. and haven't properly even learnt about belonging. briefly talking about 3 themes of belonging doesn't really count haha.
and skrzynecki (bet im going to misspell his name in the hsc) poems aren't that bad, think i could find related texts easier ..? really want to find something related with "little miss sunshine" because i absolutely love that movie and i have already (sorta) developed some aspects related to it.
man i blab on. but hopefully i can be this cough interested cough in "belonging" for the rest of this term , and especially til at least the end of paper 1 of hsc. that'll be an enormously joyous feeling.
& i FINALLY found the song that's always played in movies... natalie cole who sung "this will be (an everlasting love)" love that song, makes me feel cheery and bubbly inside!
anyhoo, must be off to write some creative piece...otherwise diner dash it is.. lol :\
(and to think i dont go on facebook anymore!)

reasons to smile.
went back to school today, and it was a rather joyous feeling.
firstly being greeted by an overly-excited (but in a good friendly cute way) pris who was happy to see me, so that was a good feeling :)
and it was just nice seeing friends, and realising that this is the last year i'll be able to rejoice every school day with you guys. i certainly will miss it in a year's time. what a rollercoaster of a year it will be, but im so glad i BELONG in this wonderful group of friends ;)
(yes thats right, incorporating an aspect of school in that sentence ahhahah.. a very boring topic at that.. well haven't even learnt anything in it yet so i shouldn't judge..)
& i finally know what i want to do after hs........yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :)
claps *
socio-legal studies with anthropology as 2nd major (i think) at syd uni. :)
not a very high aim but it seems really interesting and something i would like ...! + i think i can link it with business somehow so thats good. & lot of good job opportunities? wider range? maybe? hopefully *
and if i can achieve over it i wont be disappointed because i really only need that certain atar to get into that course so yeh.....hmmhmm :)
i must say , i am quite tempted to touch andy murray's fluffy hair. reminds me of hrh prince william, except that murray's head doesn't have a bald patch i dont think. haha. (not meant to be an insult)
my boy murray won..........yaaaaaaay :)
many yay's for today . content with life. thanks God for making things possible.

disappointment.
i guess i should be used to that feeling by now, due to me not achieving to my potential.. but aside from that, it really sucks when something you want so bad, something you've waited for some time, you are so anxious about it you can hardly stop thinking about it .. and it just randomly disappears.
suppose in this situation its sooo understandable, but makes me look at myself and feel somewhat selfish? i shouldn't be like this, im in year 12 for goodness sake!
....aiyaaaaa.
should be a new years resolution: think of others first. or put myself in their position.

MELBOURNE!
I REALLY REALLY LOVE MELBOURNE. so much in fact that i want to live there when i'm older. although i still love sydney, i just love melbourne a bit better.. haha.
the transport is so much easier - tram/train/bus .. all on ticket in which you can purchase when you're on one of them.
architecture is so artistic and colourful, makes you feel warm.
people are so friendly, one lady just randomly went up to mum and me to tell us where we were coz she thought we looked lost.
on way to airport travelled via train, and brother was exceptionally nice driving us there and taking luggage for us , good start to the trip. my mum was surprised haha. actually had plane food - quiche consisting of egg and bacon and it was yum. so funny coz when we arrived my mum didnt know how to find the baggage claim although there were clear signs informing us where to claim baggage.. hahaha. and go to hotel and i left the key to our hotel on the door for like an hour before we actually went out.. hahah luckily no one took it lmao. got lost and this nice lady randomly came up to us and helped us, finally knew where places were and walked to fitzroy gardens which was huge as, and so so so beautiful and calm. walked past st pauls cathedral which looked amazing too, and saw parliament house, walked during bourke street and collins street (soo long and soo rich looking haha) though i have to admit some of those brands aka gucci and hermes and whatevers dont look that great to be honest. saw an ancient but extremely cute paperback bookshop. on those streets were also extremely old toilets which was pretty cool, and saw some theatres , and went browsing in chinatown and had ramen which was delicious! and atm works in melbourne i actually withdrew money yesterday and it worked lmao. got some bread and cakes from maxims cake...turned out pretty average and overpriced (competitive advantage as no bread shops nearby.. haha my mum knew that and went on about that...im like i do business COURSE I KNOW ! HAHA) so a chinese mg version of a shop and that was cute, and it was a very long walk back.. took like an hour or so worth of walking. and God truly loves me , i brought my jacket and wore it and it started becoming cold and started drizzling and i had brought along my umbrella. he prepares me for unexpected things!
day 2 , walked through fitzroy garden again, as it lead to MCG and Aus Open - i actually saw Venus Williams training! pretty cool and some other tennis players i didnt recognise or couldnt see properly coz it was blocked off. went on a free tourist shuttle bus - a great bus coz it was free and the guides on it were informative, the first guy i ever had (coz theres several) was the BEST ONE EVER, HE WAS SOO NICE and everything. name was Ian i totally remembered haha :D , walked along carlton gardens and saw the outside of melbourne museum (looks amazing) and one of the world heritage sites and the IMAX theatre which was massive too. walked to lygon street for italian food had pasta and pizza, quite tasty. made it back onto the bus again to Docklands..quite similar to ..actually the ones in sydney are pretty small compared.. but it was massive. brought 2 shirts from cotton on .. only $5 each! and a shoulder bag from strandbags only $19.20! and sandals from factorie only $5! pretty cheap. its like dfo but outdoors and newer and has different shops. took the free city circle tram(excellent coz it goes everywhere in the city region for free for anybody) to flinders station and federation square, sooo huge, architecture was amazing. and there was a free performance by african americans i think? and they were pretty entertaining and hilarious. walked on a bridge over the biggest river in melbourne - yarra river, saw the outside of national gallery of victoria..had subway at collins street for dinner and walked all the way back to hotel which took awhile too like 40+ minutes of non-stop walking. and that day i had a stomach ache.. so yeh :\ ehh but still a great day. oh yeh i taught my mum how to j walk. shes so good at it now . hahah yesterday im like to my mum.. SO DANGEROUS MUM J WALKING ! coz lots of traffic passing and shes like..but you taught me ! im like..yeh thats true i guess haha.
day 3 went to queen victoria market which was like paddy's/flemingtons in syd, and such a large variety of things to look at, tried some ham and sausages and cheddar cheese on biscuits. brought a purple hat more of lavendar (pretty smexy), and i love melbourne t-shirt hahaa couldnt resist, only $5! , mum brought cherries and a hat haha, nougat (yummy lollies), airwaves, and packet of lollies mix. lunch had fish n chips and sandwich with mum. went to the melbourne zoo after which is SO MUCH BETTER THAN TARGONA ZOO! so many animals and such a large variety, and the weather was soo good that day. not too sunny and not too windy, and hardly any clouds :D and not hot it was like top of 25 so great weather. brought a $2 pen as a souvenir hahah , had vietnamese food for dinner coz mum wanted to go, not bad. it was on victoria street i think. and it was the 1st day i properly went on a melbourne tram. :D
day 4 was the great ocean road day tour, amazing day. as i had a stomach ache few days earlier, worried i would get it on the trip and worried would have headache/vomitting and God really knows to take care of me, i didnt get sick at all on that day :D:D so good. and the morning was cloudy and yuck, but by the time we got to 12 apostles , full on sunny and so beautiful. went on the west gate bridge, passed port phillip, went on bells beach, saw a nice lighthouse afterwards, and unusual holiday houses, went to lourne (beach areas) and then saw real koalas living in their normal habitat .. soo cool , and 2 of them together were so cute. and then artillery rocks , and cape patton lookout SOOO BEAUTIFUL, we live in an amazing country, we really really do. had lunch at apollo bay, fish n chips again ;D and beach had a magnificent view, the water was like crystal clear. had a 20 something walk in a rainforest, some of the trees were like 300 years old! so tropical feeling and breezy, it was so nice. finally arrived at 12 apostles, and seriously, you cant go to melbourne without seeing the 12 apostles, so so so amazing. i was literally blown away by the view. lochard gorge - climbed on sharp rocks into an actual sea cave, so beautiful instead and drippy haha , view was stunning .. melbourne is seriously so beautiful. then saw london bridge which was undoubtedly beautiful too . the sunset didnt set til like 9 that night ! so much sun in melbourne, good in a way :D thats why a lot of melbournians are out at night still, i really felt God's love that day
yesterday was last day in melbourne, i was soo devo :( but went shopping at docklands again, and brought a jacket for only $6! and exchanged some shoes , for a better pair. yah, and managed to catch the shuttle bus just in time back to art gallery to meet up with mum (yes she let me go out alone in another state ; ) ) amazing fact is that i saw diana and her family on the bus! what a coincidence and even more so when i was leaving 12 apostles just saw her arriving !!! soo cool . my mum brought lotto yesterday just coz we bumped into them on 2 consecutive days at the same time in a different state, what are the chances ! haha. and lunch in artistic cafe within the gallery, had quiche somethign or rather and that was yummy. the souvenir shop was sooo coool. was gonna go crown casino but not enough time and just made it back to hotel 10 minutes before the bus came to pick us up for the airport..even managed to do a pee pee hahaha :D and had a nice subway, on the aeroplane (jetstar) seats were soo comfy and played big 2 with my mum .. shes got owned 5-3 games haha.
2ND BEST TRIP EVER. I LOVEEEEE MELBOURNE!
THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY. YOUR LOVE FOR ME NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME! (:
