man, there's so many movies that i want to see.. ones that have been released and not released yet.
2012
the time traveller's wife
the invention of lying
this is it
cloudy with a chance of meatballs
they all look expectionally good (based on reviews & trailer & my movie tastes) although there's been a lot of criticism about 2012. despite the length of the movie, and the lameness of it, i still want to see it haha. :]
but on the whole list i really most definitely have to see the time traveller's wife and the invention of lying.
and more importantly... i still AM DESPERATELY DYING TO SEE 500 DAYS OF SUMMER! ugh, darn you term 3 holidays for not being longer.
matty if you're reading this... IM JEALOUS OF YOU! ALREADY SEEN 2 OF THE MOVIES I'VE BEEN DYING TO SEEEEEE :(
i wish i could just watch any movie at anytime. why aren't the holidays here yet?
by the time they come , either these movies are already out of the cinemas or no one's willing to go see them with me or everyone's already seen them.. haha (N)
dear weather,
please stop being so unpredictable, i despise you right now.
what happened to normal 2006-2007 or pre 2006 weather?!
don't pms or female dog anymore.. you're affecting me too ya know! and it increases my chances of getting sick .. :(
and i can't be sick .. esp at this time.
yours sincerely, grace (a disliked customer)
wow , just then i saw 3 fire brigades outside my house..apparently my next door neighbour had some issues with their insulation in their house .. and there was smoke coming out :S that sounded kinda scary.. my mum was so funny just had a shower and wanted to know what happened so she was like .. "oh no i just had a shower.." but she still went outside anyways haha - this happened at like 8:30ish at night.
i potentially may be a babysitter...may be .. lol .. hopefully :D:D
& just rediscovered AWESOME ROBBIE WILLIAMS SONGS -ROCK DJ, BETTER MAN, FEEL, SHE'S THE ONE AND ANGELS. LOVED HIS COVER OF 'MY WAY' TOO, ORIGINALLY BY FRANK SINATRA!
and got the ghostbusters theme song.. kahaha
btw - TOADY I LEARNT HOW TO RIP SONGS OFF YOUTUBE. I DONT KNOW IF THATS A PROUD ACCOMPLISHMENT OR NOT HAHA..its not that hard as long as you got a converter program ;]
& here's a nice snippet i found off a stranger's blog.
THE ART OF BELONGING:
"As humans, we all have a god-given need to love and be loved. Our different identities are formed and evolve by the amount of love that we receive, and to receive love, we first need to belong to a place/something/someone. We are not and were not made to generate and consume self-love, but to rather hold identities each to their own and enrich the lives of those around us by sharing thoughts, ideals and values. Through this connection, we are all able to belong in each other's lives."
how beautiful is that? and how true is it! I still don't think i belong anywhere in the world in particular, but that's part of discovering yourself, isn't it?
ps pansy - enjoy my posts . 2 in 2 days! even though they're so ordinary and so boring ahha , but hey better than nothing aye.

just for pansy ;
just because you "informed" me of my lack of updates on my blog...kahaha.
there's nothing momentarily exciting in my life to blog about .. that is probably why there's a lack of updates. and it wasn't that late! only 8 days apart from the last post!!
like i said, a post a week .. if i remember.
mylifeisaverage.com is possibly one of the most entertaining and weirdest sites i daily go onto.
which sites do you guys go on daily?
i think mine are facebook (so much for cutting back on that), youtube (only to watch my subscriptions), mylifeisaverage.com, givesmehope.com, sometimes fml , and on people's blogs , and to check my email (:
and now i'm making a habit out of going on smh.com.au daily, to go and check the unpredictable weather.

old school music :)
[ off topic: i realise i post weekly now...this is my weekly ritual. i have no idea why i remember to post something approximately every once a week.. lol ]
don't remember what spurred me to go download this 'backstreet boys' song.. but i did. "I want it that way" .. awesome awesome song. though i think they're singing more of heartbreak and wanting to gain back that relationship yeh? haha i usually don't grasp song lyric meanings.. unless if they're the obvious ones like .. "good girls go bad" or "oops..i did it again" (haha i realised a lot of my songs & song references are mainstream artists T_T..but then again some of them are mainstream for a good reason.)
main point is that old school songs & music are relatively catchy & have great karaoke lyrics (in my opinion) ..although current 2009 november / just 2009 in general songs are similar to that definition...they're more..i dont know the word..they're just not as great as old school music. (although i do love them still hah!)
edit: I JUST REALISED! I DON'T LIKE CURRENT MUSIC AS MUCH AS OLD SCHOOL MUSIC BECAUSE THE THINGS THE ARTISTS SING ABOUT..THEY'RE SO .. ORDINARY/BORING/OVER-EXAGGERATED...although there are some exceptions ;D
thinking of this song.. makes me happy and giddy - reminds me of 2000 when sydney held the olympics, i was in yr 2 with like 4 or 5 best friends? if i recall correctly, and everything was fun and enjoyable - obviously because it was yr 2 ! and attending the best primary school ever ;] .. anyhoo, had a major epiphany - in the holidays or whenever i'm bored (with time to kill) i will go and record myself dancing crazily and singing to "i want it that way" and possibly "Billie jean" because these songs are so easy to dance too and lyrics are easy to get.. but most importantly - whenever i'm sad .. i can easily go and watch the video of me dancing so happily and almost immediately cheer myself up :D
genius idea? haha if not.. it's still funny to see yourself act like a fool ! lols.. should have probably done this back in the term 3 holidays.. oh wells!
fellow readers.. probably more of just elaine, diana & pansy .. what's your old school music that you love and possibly still listen to nowadays? or on the occasional basis?
i have several others.. "teenage dirtbag" by wheatus! i first listened to it in 1999 & i remember because it was back in the day my bro was in primary school too & he used to consistently replay it.. and i used to dislike the song until i heard it too many times (i'm still like this with songs btw!..unless if its acoustic or an artist im already familiar with) ..usually he played it on friday afternoons after chinese school finished..on the way home admist the horrible traffic. i miss those good old days!
speaking of my brother - he has an xbox ....with 2 controllers now! score! except i'm restraining myself until summer holidays come around T_T but self-control - i should be proud of myself! particularly when he's playing it daily as he's already on holidays.. i think .. haha
hmm another old school song.. "strawberry kisses" by nikki webster - haha she used to be a cutie. i don't recall if her last name has 2 b's or not .. meh.
ooh "absolutely everybody" by vanessa amorosi is a great song too! .. very party tunes :)
what else.. hmmhmm.."show me the feeling of being lonely" by backstreet boys.. CLASSIC ONE BY THEM TOO! HEHEH - i used to listen it soooo much too.
"a thousand miles" by vanessa carlton? (hope thats her name :\ ) .. but yeh is that even old school? meh it is now haha
- mind block atm -
can't think of anymore right now... but seriously.. google up 2005 songs.. the top 100 ... lots of memories with those (i reckon ahha)
peace out everyone! (couldnt think of a musical witty pun. (N) )
lots of love all around xxx :)

isn't it funny?
it's probably just stereotypes. probably just assumptions. but isn't it funny how almost everyone - whether asians or non-asians, (more leaning towards asians though haha) assume that
a) if you've dropped down from ext maths, then your 2 unit maths is brillant and you know everything
b) that if you're asian - you're smart
c) that if you're asian .. you go tutoring. and if you don't go tutoring, then you're a genius (hence the non-tutoring)
d) if you're asian, obviously you study for 99.9% of the time
well i've broken all 4 of those mesely stereotypes already .. ever since yr 11 begun (to be honest). people should stop assuming and judging but start listening and learning instead! and have their own opinions (but who am i to criticise?)
camp wasn't bleak, it wasn't subsided, it was amazing. relooking at all the photos bring back fond memories and urges my brain to focus on school work instead of reminicising my time away.
being partially sick hasn't helped me either! yr 12.. i don't know .. probably because things at home (well for now its been alright) hasn't been the best, so i've ACTUALLY BEEN LOOKING FOWARD TO SCHOOL AND SO FORTH. BEEN EXCITED AND JOYOUS ABOUT IT. even though the lessons are sometimes a bore and a drag...WHAT THE HECK!?
school's relieving sometimes. an escape. though most people want to escape from school - opposite from me atm, i think when the assessments officially start pouring in and school really becomes a hate rather than a like then i'll really & honestly agree with the rest of society.
so much for me not going on the internet so much, it's around the same.
so much for me not watching tv on a school day (exception of a friday) anymore, it's still the same. i'll be devestated when the shows do finish, but i'll also be glad - means i'll have more time for study and homework? but then i'll just waste the time alternatively on something even more pointless..
i smell regret already. and it's only been 3 weeks.
haven't even been "studying" on a regular basis - i foresee the future already: my band 6 marks are pouring down into a lobsided drain with no attempts of returning back to me.
aiya.
i better ship shape up .. as .. whoever says that.. lol.
oh & last night i printed out like 9 photos :) all in colour, great to stick onto my wall for inspiration and to evoke memories and happiness - days i hope will consistently come back hehe ;)
i love you all mad friends xxx
ps i have more textbooks on my shelves now. a genius awaiting !! :]
pps i love you pansy - calling me just to ask me when our "maths assignment" is due.. if you read this before monday.. i still haven't started. yay (N)
