the joys of ebay (:

even though i'm not legally old enough to purchase/sell anything on that site, i made an account just for the sake of "watching items" i like hahahaa :) true asian.
they really do have some really vintage, awesome, unique , stunning items on there, and such a large variety. too bad for expensive postage + mum being pissy about ebay + we have to pay more for the exchange rates with us dollars...
otherwise i would be purchasing my sisters keeper, tatty teddy toys and stickers, 500 days of summer posters, posters, etc. etc. :)

having desire for something or someone is great..but i realise have the desire for GOD EVERYDAY is the greatest desire anyone should have, because in the end it's only YOU & ME GOD! and i should treasure every moment i spend with you.. :)

yesterday went to cell group .. &

did pp & worshipping together as well as singing hymns and sharing about them..we shared about "love is like a rainbow" ( i think thats the song? haha ) and it had some really touching lyrics in them - "your love is stronger than death and forever the same." and this line really touched my heart to know that He sacrificed himself just for me and has loved me since eternity passed! and yet his love for me is always the same , abundant, unique and so personal. read john 20:19-31 (continued from last time's cell group) and some verses really encouraged me like :

"peace be with you"
"do not be unbelieving but believing"
"blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
"you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."

these verses especially touched my heart, reminding me to especially believe, have faith and rely on Christ at all times. b/s sharings were quite different but they were all very personal and inspiring to me. :)

& we watched a dvd called "jim elliot" .. well something something (dont remember><) before that, but yeh.. a true story about this man who travelled around the world with missionary teams to preach the gospel, especially to those who've never heard of Christ before. in Eucador where they went, he was so persistent and determined to make connect with these people, he even learnt their native language in order to communicate and make those people feel welcomed, although as they were a bit violent? and uncomfortable meeting new people, especially those from another place and of different cultures, they still used spears (as it was their culture) to kill the few people on the missionary team as they were afraid. one thing that was so important that Jim said was about temporary loss is nowhere as close as gaining glory for Christ, and would sacrifice himself so that they may learn about Christ..and as one of the ladies from Eucador once ran away from those people, she came back to preach and help them learn about Christ, and so did the family members of the missionary team who all died, through God's love they were able to gain support and Christ in their hearts!
so joyous & encouraging to me to know someone loved God so much he would sacrifice himself for others to gain Christ!

so joyous to be a part of CHRIST!!! :)
